Love Furniture Profits Tip: Are You Using This Easy Way To Make More Money?

Are you using this easy way to make more money?

There are only three days to do more business.

1. Get more new customers
2. Make more sales to the customers you already have
3. Make larger sales to the customers you already have

Notice anything about that short list? Two of the three involve doing more with what you already have, rather than searching out what you don’t have. A bird in the hand, right? Most stores spend way more money trying to attract new customers then they do cultivating the ones they already have.

More sales come from keeping in contact with your current customers, through emails, mailings and the like.

Larger sales come from always suggesting an add-on as you complete the sale you're working on. Look at Amazon and practically every other site that sells. “Others who bought ABC also bought XYZ.” Right? I just ordered letterhead and envelopes. Once I added them to the cart, a popup said, “Many people who ordered these envelopes, also order mailing labels.”

Here’s an example of how you can do this. “Most people who buy this chair, also buy the matching ottoman. You do want the ottoman, don’t you?”

“Many who buy this table set, also buy these lamps which go perfectly with the tables. I assume you want the tables?”

You can make up your own scenarios. They are endless. BTW, the earlier in the sales process you being to talk about add-ons, the easier it is to close when the time comes. Nobody likes to be hit with an offer to buy more, right at the end. “Remember those lamps we talked about? You do want them, don’t you?”
