Broyhill announced that its Express Program will be expanded to include casegoods and additional upholstery frames this Market. Originally introduced in early 2007 with ten upholstery frames, the complete Express Program including an expanded upholstery offering and six of Broyhill’s best selling casegood collections will be merchandised and displayed for the first time as a complete program at the Las Vegas Market. With full support from parent company Furniture Brands International’s Asian offices, the newly expanded Express Program will satisfy the immediate needs of dealers and their customers by committing to having some of Broyhill’s most popular upholstery and casegood collections in stock at all times and available for immediate shipment. The fully implemented FBN Asia organization leverages the size and scale of Furniture Brands to make it easier for each of its Brands to offer their dealers innovative inventory solutions, much like the Broyhill Express Program. “By expanding this program, we are responding to our dealers’ demands for quick turnaround on their orders as well as their desire to keep inventory levels down during this tough economic climate,” states Anthony Teague, vice president, upholstery division for Broyhill. “The program also provides an inventory solution for our smaller independent retailers who don’t have the capacity to keep large volumes of inventory in stock or flow containers.” “It has never been more important than it is right now to have the inventory our dealers want, when they want it,” added Jeff Cook, president of Broyhill. “In this volatile economic climate, we are not taking a ‘wait and see attitude’. We are listening to our customers needs, and by expanding this program, making a major commitment to our loyal Broyhill accounts.” The expanded Upholstery Express Program includes 16 complete fabric collections, four complete leather collections, nine coordinating chairs, and one coordinating table ottoman in styles ranging from traditional to contemporary. Some of Broyhill’s most popular fabric and leather covers are offered including chenilles, microfibers, cotton twills, corduroys, as well as high quality premium aniline leathers. Upholstery silhouettes range from traditional skirted options to more contemporary silhouettes with wood exposed legs in finishes ranging from Broyhill’s best-selling Attic Heirlooms finish, to Attic Heirlooms Fireside Cherry, and Affinity. Six of Broyhill’s best-selling casegood collections are offered in the Casegoods Express Program, including both bedroom and dining room pieces covering styles from relaxed country, Louis Philippe, classic Shaker, and arts and crafts. Bedroom groups include Crossroads, Cross Creek, Cross Towne, Nouvelle, Attic Heirlooms Fireside Cherry, and Vantana. Dining room groups include Attic Heirlooms Fireside Cherry, Vantana formal dining and Vantana casual dining. Broyhill Home Furnishings offers wooden case goods and upholstery for every room in the home, including the living room, dining room, bedroom, family room, home entertainment area, home office and youth bedroom.
