Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America has recently announced a 4th Quarter 2008 incentive program that offers retail customers a choice of Free Fuel for a Year* or 0% APR Financing for up to 36 months** on the purchase of any new 2007, 2008 or 2009 Mitsubishi Fuso truck delivered by December 31, 2008. Named the “Show Me the Money” Sales Event, the incentive program is open to all retail customers in the United States who purchase a new Mitsubishi Fuso truck and take delivery by December 31, 2008. Matthew Stevenson, COO of MFTA, says “The cost of fuel and other economic factors create a challenging environment for customers right now. We’re offering this incentive program, the biggest sales promotion in our 20+-year history, to help alleviate some of those worries.” Here’s how the “Show Me The Money” program works. Once a customer has sealed the deal on any new truck, they get their choice of Free Fuel for One Year, or 0% APR Financing for up to 36 months. The free fuel is supplied by way of a $3,000 prepaid fuel card (based on 10,000 mi./yr, $3.90/gal. diesel, and 13 mpg average fuel economy). The 0% APR financing is available to qualified buyers through Daimler Truck Financial or Hitachi Capital America. Not all buyers will qualify for the 0% offer. Actual rates, terms, down payment, and program eligibility will be determined by the financing company based upon the creditworthiness of the customer. Those interested should see a Mitsubishi Fuso authorized dealer for complete details. A similar program, offering Free Fuel for a Year, is being offered in Canada. About Mitsubishi Fuso: Headquartered in Redford, MI, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA), is an affiliate of Daimler Trucks North America LLC, a Daimler company.
