Home furnishings specialty retailer Power of Home announced that it is set to open a new Power of Home store in the Agoura Design Center. The success of the first flagship store propelled the company to open this new location that features expanded floor plans and double the amount of product selections. The opening is scheduled for early November 2008. Abbyson executives officially signed with Michael S. Adler president of Adler Realty Investments, Inc., in their effort to develop the 20,000 square foot store. Adler Realty Investments, Inc. specializes in high-end office, retail, industrial and multifamily residential properties as well as land for development through the western United States. The two story building will be located just outside Los Angeles in an affluent town of Agoura Hills. The location for Power of Home was strategically chosen through extensive research and industry market trends. Construction is already underway. With more than double the space, the new location will feature redesigned current concepts and fresh revolutionary design space. The store will offer customers two floors of shopping experience including an escalator and an indoor/out door bistro lounge. “Our vision is to be the leaders of innovative home furnishings and offer our products to the masses. With the mega success of our flagship showroom it was only a natural progression to open this second location.” said Yavar Rafieha, Vice President of Marketing and Sales. The chosen location is a popular fast growing city in close proximity to Malibu, Calabasas, and Thousand Oaks, known for its breathtaking landscapes, luxury estates and relaxing shopping environment. The new location gives the store access to a much larger consumer base. Agoura Hills is known for being a destination for consumers flocking to escape the overflowing city malls. With many specialty stores nearby and a newly opened Ethan Allen store located inside the center, the location is already a popular destination for those looking to furnish their homes. “This new location has intrigued us for quite some time. I am fully confident that the new store will be an even superior success than our flagship store in Westfield Topanga. We feel we have surpassed any expectations. Agoura Hills community will also greatly benefit from our unique store and we are prepared to offer the best products and services to our clients.” said Rafieha. The flagship Power of Home first opened its doors to the public on June 2006 in the newly renovated powerhouse Westfield Topanga Shopping Center. The store's unique product selections and convenient location has since become a fast trend setting shopping experience with neighboring high-end giants such as Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. The flagship store currently offers 10,000 sq. feet of display areas that showcase a mix of home furnishings from rugs, accessories, and antiques to complete living, dining, and bedroom vignettes. “This new showroom will have the similar elements as our flagship store with a few surprises. The shear size of the store with first class interior decorating will awe our existing customers and draw in a new mix of clientele.” said Yavar Rafieha, Vice President of Marketing and Sales. The new store will also offer a wide variety of international products including provocative home accessories and luxurious antiques. The main product focus will be directed towards contemporary home furnishings. Ergonomically designed lounge chairs with modern euro style sofa selections is what the Power of Home customer can expect. With the booming demand for eco-friendly products, Power of Home said that it will promote its one-of-a-kind nature inspired Tibetan rugs at the current and new locations. These environmentally aware rugs are hand-knotted from Himalayan sheep wool and dyed with 100% organic vegetable base. In house design patterns range from traditional, transitional and contemporary mix. “We are thrilled to offer eco-friendly products to the masses from both locations. Earth friendly products are the wave of the future and we are always one step ahead. With such a unique product base we expect our success to be unstoppable” noted Mr. Rafieha.
