IHFC will debut two brand new, completely transformed spaces – Pavilions on 3 and Wrenn and Green Wings – to visitors at the upcoming April market. To mark the special occasion, IHFC will host a ribbon cutting at the sites that will surely stir excitement and pique the curiosity of market goers. The first ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on April 7 at Pavilions on 3. Pavilions on 3 underwent a dramatic renovation, and is now ready for temporary showcases for exhibitors of decorative accessories and home accents. The 40,000-square-foot space features a Soho-style environment – complete with winding cobblestone lanes that connect exhibitors, as well as a restaurant, bistro/cappuccino bar, 10-foot bronze fountain splashing into a marble pool, hanging antique streetlamps, live trees in planters and aged columns and more. The second ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held immediately following the Pavilions on 3 ceremony, at approximately 10:10 a.m. on April 7 in the Wrenn and Green Wings. The Wrenn and Green Wings, located just a short walk across the bridge connecting Main's third floor, has yet another 40,000 square feet of prime, redesigned real estate for exhibitors of decorative accessories and home accents who prefer permanent showrooms. Opening in 1921, IHFC was the original showroom building in High Point and after 85 years of expansion remains the centerpiece of the world’s largest home-furnishings trade show that attracts more than 90,000 participants twice a year to 2,600 showrooms covering 11.5 million square feet. IHFC alone is home to 650 of the leading home-furnishings manufacturers, including 13 of the top 20 companies, and covers 3.5 million square feet.
