Elite Leather, recently announced a partnership with renowned Los Angeles‐based furniture designer, Nathan Turner. Born of a shared love of exceptional design and quality craftsmanship, says the company, this partnership will breathe new excitement into an already impressive assortment of furniture styles. The Nathan Turner for Elite Leather collection will be unveiled at the Elite Leather showroom during High Point Market in April, 2008. This collaboration will bring together the expertise and brand recognition of Elite Leather with the inspiration and design‐forward sensibility of Nathan Turner. The Nathan Turner for Elite Leather debut collection will include 15‐20 pieces of furniture which will achieve comprehensive designer vignettes. Global design inspirations will be evidenced in the sofas, chairs, ottomans and accent pieces that comprise the leather and fabric‐covered furniture line. “All of us at Elite Leather are elated to work with someone of Nathan Turner’s caliber. Not only does he have great business and design sense, but his fresh perspective promises to add charm and character to Elite Leather’s selection of styles,” says Gabrielle Galardo, Vice President of Marketing for Elite Leather. Nathan Turner is a renowned furniture store owner, inspired by design styles from around the world. A credible resource to the country’s leading decorators and design‐savvy consumers, Turner’s Los Angeles store includes a mix of worldly furniture pieces including some of his own creations. Following the belief that one’s interior should reflect one’s personality, it is no surprise that Nathan finds design a very personal experience. Well‐ traveled and inclined to the European design aesthetic, Turner’s designs exude a collective bohemian quality. His knack for transforming a classic design into an entertaining design element – converting a simple ottoman into a Moroccan table or a modular chaise into a daybed inspired by the lounging style of Turkey – evokes the easy flexibility of European life. His collection for Elite Leather will be no different, incorporating surprising new elements such as the introduction of vivid embroidered leather to accent pieces and the benefit of true versatility to several of his designs. “Design is something that should be infused into every aspect of modern life,” says Nathan Turner. “Elite Leather and I share the same goals of creating distinct design with timeless style, while striving to uphold a certain standard of product quality. I am thrilled at the opportunity to partner with Elite Leather and tap into their broad consumer audience.” The Nathan Turner for Elite Leather collection will debut in April, 2008, but will continue to evolve over ensuing Markets.
