Broyhill Home Furnishings has unveiled plans for renovating their entire showroom in the lobby of their showroom located in the International Home Furnishings Center, Commerce 600. Construction on the 80,000 sq. ft. showroom is slated to begin immediately following Market. At an event, “Building the Legend: Our Blueprint for the Future”, Jeff Cook, president of Broyhill Furniture Industries, announced plans for the renovation and the company’s future. The showroom plans call for a fresh, sleek look designed to create a welcoming and inviting space that will better showcase product, provide retailers with creative display ideas and convey the power of the Broyhill brand. New amenities will include a private dealer lounge and meeting rooms, conference room facilities, an interactive media room, bistro café and concierge service. “This Market signals the launch of a new era at Broyhill and our unrelenting focus on one goal and one goal only: our return to dominance in every product category we sell,” Cook says. “There’s one thing that I’ve learned in my first several months at Broyhill, and that is that there is tremendous power in this brand. Today you have seen just the beginnings of our return to dominance.” “We’ve spent the months since last market doing our homework by listening to our retailers and consumers,” he continues. “We’ve gained invaluable feedback about how to bring all of our product lines to life, in design as well as function. As a result, we’re spending more time on Gen-X and Gen-Y consumers and we’re doing the research to bring new and relevant products to the marketplace. Moving forward, product will continue to be our number one priority as America’s favorite furniture brand returns to dominance.” Also unveiled was an 11 ft. by 8 ft. timeline of Broyhill innovation and power, now displayed in the lobby. “This timeline visually depicts the incredibly powerful role Broyhill has played in the furniture industry,” Cook says. “It tells the story of how Broyhill has inspired millions of families to use its products to turn their houses into homes and illustrates the power of the Broyhill brand over time. It will serve as a reminder to keep your eye on Broyhill as we reinvent ourselves and initiate changes that will make the already legendary Broyhill brand even more relevant and meaningful for a whole new generation of loyal customers.” Broyhill Home Furnishings offers wooden case goods and upholstery for every room in the home, including the living room, dining room, bedroom, family room, home entertainment area, home office and youth bedroom.
