Stanley Names Shawn Stevens VP of Procurement

Stanley Furniture Company, Inc. announced the appointment of Shawn Stevens to vice president of procurement. Stevens will report to Rick Lovorn, senior vice president of manufacturing. In this position, Stevens’ will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and coordination of all purchasing activities. “Shawn’s more than 10 years of purchasing experience makes him a very valuable addition to our manufacturing team,” says Lovorn. “We look forward to his fresh perspective on purchasing operations and systems so that we continue in our mission to profitably offer the best product in the Stanley Furniture segment.” Prior to joining Stanley Furniture, Stevens served as global purchasing manager for Spectrum Brands, Inc. Before that, Stevens worked in various procurement roles at Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. Originally from Danville, Ky., Stevens holds a bachelor’s of business administration degree from Campbellsville University.
