JLA Home, a division of E&E Co., Ltd., announced it has entered into a licensing arrangement with Candice Olson. Under the agreement, JLA Home will develop, produce, market and sell home textiles under the “Candice Olson” brand, offering a full product line including complete bedding ensembles, sheeting, blankets, throws, pillows, window treatments and home textiles. The collection will be marketed to a wide range of retail, catalog and Internet avenues. Candice Olson, one of North America’s leading professional interior designers, is the host of the hit TV series, “Divine Design.” Her timeless style and engaging personality draw viewers across North America to the show, now in its fifth season and rated No. 1 on both HGTV-U.S. and Canada’s W Network. Olson also acts as contributing design editor for HOME Magazine, has a popular syndicated newspaper column distributed across the United States by United Feature Syndicate and the Scripps Howard News Service, and has a book series with Meredith Publishing. Olson says that the “design is in the details” and that is what makes each ensemble distinctive. The collection combines both contemporary and classic design with traditional motifs accented by signature finishing treatments such as beading, feathers and faux fur. Fremont-based JLA Home, a division of E&E Co., Ltd., is an established design based supplier of Home Textiles, Intimate Apparel and multiple categories of Apparel and Outerwear. JLA’s China based corporate campus is located in Hangzhou. Candice Olson, interior designer and popular host of “Divine Design,” is a graduate of the University of Calgary in Canada, a former player for the Canadian National Women's Volleyball Team, and alumni of the Ryerson University School of Interior Design. She started her own commercial and residential design practice in 1994. Her growing family of licensed product lines includes JLA Home, Norwalk Furniture, Kravet Fabrics, AF Lighting, Hellenic Rugs and York Wallcoverings.
