Prominent home furnishings designer Liora Manné introduced four unique floor-covering collections for indoor and outdoor use that are perfect for spring and summer décor in 2006. The rugs are crafted using Manne’s renown, architectural felted textiles and designs, the newest trend in home furnishings.
From upholstery to rugs, Liora Manne's patented Lamontage process allow her manipulate and create beautiful, one-of-a-kind designs that capture your artistic senses all the time.
“Your home is your sanctuary, and it should reflect your preferences for comfort and serenity,” says Manné. “I designed these collections to create a special ambiance, whether indoors or out. Using Lamontage, I’m able to mix and manipulate fibers and turn them into one-of-kind and elegant designs. They’re beautiful, but can withstand the elements of weather because of their durability.”
Manne's floor covering collections are perfect for outdoor environments because of their extreme durability and functionality. Using the Lamontage process results in an extremely durable fabric that meet/exceeds ASTM tests for durability, functionality, and fire codes. Because of this Manné has been sought out for major installations by distinguished architects over the past ten years. Manne’s installations include the Rubin Museum, Riverdale Country School, and Reem Ackra New York Showroom. Designer Todd Oldham, whose love of handmade details and lush color sense is renown, also has also worked with Manné on many custom designs and exclusive projects.
The new Manné floor collections are Swirls, Bubbles, Twists and Mosaic. The rugs come in a wide range of rich greens, warm ambers, soft blues and natural browns, with modern and vibrant designs that blend with nature, helping to create an air of sophistication in any room. Manne’s rugs are great for summer homes, sunrooms, screened-in porches, patios and any other living space associated with the outdoors.
