This Fall, the vibe is nostalgic as EQ3 revives the best of the 70s...the days of disco, polyester leisure suits, mood rings & roller-skates. Cruise through the showroom where you will discover a mix of new design introductions that are equal parts disco glam and laid back cool. New products shine in all of our major categories, offering funky new styles at familiar prices. Below are some of the new introductions shown in the EQ3 showroom located on Level 4 – 220 Elm (within the Palliser showroom) during the Fall 2005 Home Furnishings Market in High Point, North Carolina. Milo: Milo is a modern flashback of glitter, glam and bright lights. This high rollin’ introduction flaunts designs for the Bedroom, Dining and Living rooms. Linear chrome elements flatter rich-toned high-gloss lacquer, striking just the right balance of flash and sophistication. Standing boldly alone or fashionably sharing the spotlight with EQ3’s existing collections, Milo is sure to turn heads. Jolli A rare solid wood story, the new Jolli Bedroom effortlessly blends traditional country elements with modern materials and details. Jolli combines a laid back style with a compelling presence. Her tarnished gray finish highlights a warm wood grain, clean lines and facetted surfaces. Jolli is an eclectic gem flaunting a super chill attitude. Keep the Groove Goin’ Last market, Ginger, Prairie and Dandy made stellar first-time appearances. This market, they return with some new additions in home office, entertainment and occasional tables. Who knew storage could be so superchic? Cocktail Hour: How we long for the return of the cocktail hour - To resurrect the popularity of this long lost art, EQ3 has expanded its dining category to include new dining, counter and pub tables for Bossa, B2C, Ginger and Nest. Accentuating these table designs are new super stylin’ dining chairs and barstools. Break out the Cinzano, cheese cubes and cocktail onions. Lounging: This Fall, EQ3 upholstery gets daring with new fabric lines, including a swanky new collection of textured and patterned fabrics for chairs, pillows and ottomans. In the bedroom, our original upholstered bed gets two new mates. The City bed is a keen, straight shooter compared to the cheeky sass of the Twilight bed. In the Living room, two new upholstery frames debut as well. The Bobo seating collection flaunts flamboyant curves with a new groove...retro style. Our new Bebel frame is mellow, lounging low and deep with coil seating and plush down cushions. Concluding the new upholstery introductions are a few of EQ3’s classic frames reborn. Updated sectionals, new leather options and sassy new functions revolutionize. New fabrics, new colours, new frames, new functions. What a groovy combination. Dyn-o-mite! Feel the Funk: Relive some of the fab and funky colours of the 70s with EQ3’s line of accessories. Glam shades of orange, green, brown and fuschia mix with core white and black neutrals. New shag rugs, corduroy pillows, groovy wood grains, fluid shaped vases, flowing sculptural lights and luscious coloured glass offer a bold mix of materials and textures. If we had to pick just one fave though, it would have to be the smokin’ fringe curtains...don’t leave the 70s without ‘em.
