The International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair – U.S.A. ®, continues to experience strong sales for exhibit space for IWF 2006. The continued demand for exhibit space from new prospective exhibitors combined with increased exhibit space requests from our previous IWF exhibitors, indicate the Fair is on pace to be one of the largest industry events in the world. Nearly 1,000 manufactures of machinery and supplies have again made IWF the centerpiece to their sales and marketing plans. The IWF 2006 exhibitors have contracted over 750,000 net square feet of exhibit space to showcase the most innovative new technology available to the most qualified buyers in the world. “We are pleased and encouraged by the continued strong demand for exhibit space for IWF 2006,” commented Russ McBroom, IWF 2006 Chairman and President of Mereen-Johnson Machine Company, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. “The largest audience of qualified buyers and the most exhibitors in the Americas. Only one show delivers them both, and that continues to be the International Woodworking Fair.” IWF is the largest tradeshow in the Western Hemisphere representing the wood processing industry; the next IWF will take place August 23-26, 2006 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. IWF brings together the most innovative new technology available to the marketplace and hosts buying teams from over seventy countries around the world representing industries such as cabinetry, wood processing, fenestration, solid surfaces, closets, flooring, store fixtures, architectural woodworking and furniture, Yet it’s more than woodworking. Customers from industries involving plastics, composite materials, machine tool, and material handling attend IWF because they know it encompasses the technology that can help them make their companies more efficient, more productive and – best of all – more competitive in the global marketplace. IWF 2006 will include a cutting edge Technical Conference Program, an innovative New Product Showcase, The Distinguished Challengers Achievement Award® and a trend setting Design Emphasis competition among many other features. IWF is owned and sponsored by American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA), Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA), and Woodworking Machinery Industry Association (WMIA).
