Unveiled at the April 2005 High Point Furniture Market (High Point, N.C.), "The EuroBed by Tempur-Pedic" design was originally launched in Europe late last year. After receiving rave reviews, the unique construction was brought to the United States to meet the demands of bedroom-savvy shoppers. "The EuroBed by Tempur-Pedic" highlights the pressure-relieving comfort of the proprietary TEMPUR(R) material by quilting it into the top of an ultra- luxurious cover and framing it with a micro-fiber suede textile that contrasts in both color and feel. The mattress sides are also covered in this fabric. "The EuroBed by Tempur-Pedic" also features high-profile platform foundation covered in the micro-fiber suede and designed exclusively to accentuate the sleek style of the sleep system. "We recognize how important design elements are becoming in the bedroom and are excited to debut such a striking sleep system," said Dany Sfeir, Senior Vice President of Marketing. "The modern style of 'The EuroBed by Tempur-Pedic' is something previously unseen in the mattress industry. This sleep system is truly unique." "The EuroBed by Tempur-Pedic" is based on the Company's patented, one- sided Swedish Mattress(TM) design featuring a Comfort Layer of TEMPUR material to absorb and distribute body weight evenly while a TEMPUR Support Layer supports the entire body in perfect alignment. As in other Tempur-Pedic mattress models, the dual AirFlow System(TM) supports the TEMPUR layers and promotes air circulation. "The EuroBed by Tempur-Pedic" will be available for purchase in the United States in June 2005.
