AFMA Announces Addition Of Director Of Environmental Affairs:

The American Furniture Manufacturers Association announces the addition of Andy Counts to the position of Director of Environmental Affairs. Counts comes to AFMA from Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. where he served as a Environmental Project Engineer. After graduating with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Counts was an Environmental Engineer for the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and an Air Quality Engineer for Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. Counts has experience in regulatory analysis, client management, agency negotiations and project management. He specializes in air emission audits, regulatory compliance, permitting emissions estimating and air quality modeling. Mr. Counts has experience with both State and Federal regulations and policies such as NSPS (New Source Performance Standards), NSR (New Source Review), PSD (Prevention of Significant Deterioration), Nonattainment Area, Air Toxins, BACT (Best Available Control Technology), "top-down" BACT, Netting and Offsets.
