Occupancy rates at the San Francisco Mart are mirroring the Bay Area's housing crunch, making it extremely difficult for Mart's management to find space for manufacturers to lease. "We would like to accommodate new tenants in our permanent showrooms, but space limitations preclude us from leasing to additional manufacturers at this time," remarks Roseann Carini. senior vice president of leasing. "Our tenant base has stabilized so there is less turnover, our Markets are stronger. and we give priority for any available space to Our current tenants for expansions and relocations." As of June 16, the Mart can confirm four new tenants. Arcadia Furniture Resources of North Carolina will be open a 2,553 square foot showroom in space 359 of Mart 1.
