Cantoni, Inc., one of the leading contemporary furniture, accessory and design studio retailers, along with Metropolitan Home magazine and Excelsior Designs, a leading manufacturer of contemporary and transitional home furnishings, will host a presentation on “The Modern Mix,” an event open to the public. Featuring Metropolitan Home retail merchandising editor Jo-Anne Pier and Cantoni design consultants, the event is scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2003 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the new Cantoni Atlanta showroom, located at 1011 Monroe Drive in mid-town Atlanta. A reception will begin at 3:00p.m. followed by the presentation at 3:30p.m. “We are bringing Atlanta consumers into the Cantoni showroom to show them unique, individualized ways of putting their homes together,” says Metropolitan Home’s Jo-Anne Pier. Through a series of demonstrations, Pier will demonstrate what “blending” means today in home decorating. “We will be spotlighting the unique,” she says, “ while blending clean-lined and ornate elements into modern decors. The program will show that many modern pieces have classic lines to them, so no matter what period of history we are in, modern transcends time and works well in any style of home.” During the event there will be an opportunity to win a Cristallo Bar valued at $3279.00 compliments of Cantoni and Excelsior Designs. The winner must be present in order to receive their gift. Limited space is available. To reserve a place at this special program, call Cantoni at 404-881-8111, or send an e-mail to bconley@cantoni.com.
