-Cantoni Hires New Store Manager in Los Angeles: Robert Briody To Manage Operations of Los Angeles’s Leading Contemporary Furniture Retailer

Cantoni, Inc., one of the leading contemporary furniture, accessory and design studio retailers, recently hired Robert Briody as Cantoni’s new general manager in Los Angeles. Briody, who joins Cantoni with almost 30 years of experience in the furniture industry, will now spearhead the business operations of the Los Angeles location, which opened in October 2002. “We are pleased to have Robert join our management team,” said Michael Wilkov, Cantoni president and CEO. “His invaluable experience in the furniture industry will prove to be a strong asset for our Los Angeles showroom and design studio.” Richard Pabon, vice president of west coast operations added that, “with Robert’s knowledge and expertise in the furniture retail market he is sure only grow and develop the Los Angeles showroom location.” Prior to joining Cantoni, Briody spent the past 3 years at Sheres Studio, a leading manufacturer of contemporary Italian goods sold throughout North America, where he severed as vice president of sales and marketing. Briody has also served as vice president of sales and marketing for Galerkin Design and Pacific/Condi. “I am looking forward to bringing Cantoni to the forefront of furniture retail in the Los Angeles market,” said Briody. “The Cantoni showroom here in Los Angeles already has such a strong client following, and I am looking forward to enhancing Cantoni’s visibility in the Los Angeles market as the leader in contemporary furniture and accessories.” Founded in 1984, Cantoni has grown from a single location in Dallas, to more than 100,000 square feet of showroom space in Dallas, Houston, Irvine, Calif. and the newest location in Atlanta.
