Leading furniture components supplier Hickory Springs announced a new coordinated convertible frame style available in its Panama Jack line of tropical-themed convertible furniture products. Constructed of eco-friendly, plantation-grown rubberwood, the new Eco Jack convertible is designed to match living room and bedroom pieces from the Eco Jack by Panama Jack Home Collection.

Hickory at Home, the consumer products division of Hickory Springs, will present the new frame among its latest offerings at the upcoming High Point Market this October 22 to 27 (Main Building, 5th Floor, Space #508A). With Eco Jack, the Panama Jack Convertibles line has expanded to 12 stylish mattress-and-frame ensembles from Hickory Springs.

“Our full-range capabilities and strong relationships with suppliers all over the world enable us to re-create any style suited to our customers’ target specifications and price point,” said Hickory Springs Executive Vice President Dwayne Welch. “In creating the Eco Jack frame, we chose one of the most durable hardwoods which is also kind to the environment since it is plantation grown. The overall line has a dozen styles to choose from to match any home décor.”

As in the Eco Jack home furniture collection by Panama Jack, Hickory’s Eco Jack convertible has a youthful, vibrant spirit in both design and attitude. Its slat and raised-panel construction gives it a modern yet primitive feel. Plantation-grown rubberwood is one of the most durable and environmentally friendly hardwoods used in furniture today. After the rubberwood tree has exhausted its 25- to 30-year yield producing latex, it is carefully harvested for a variety of uses from furniture to wooden toys.

Panama Jack Convertibles goes from plush sofa to comfortable sleep surface with one swift movement. Two mattress options are available; the eight-inch mattress features the company’s Preserve® bio-based foam and fiber. The 10-inch mattress offers an extra level of support with an innerspring unit in addition to Preserve® foam and fiber.

In addition to Preserve®, the line features eco-friendly components from Hickory Springs’ EarthCare Inside line, including recycled steel in the innerspring unit, recycled cotton in the cotton-poly blend coverings, natural cotton felt and recycled fiber. Preserve® is the first foam to incorporate a significant percentage of bio-based ingredients into a traditionally all-petroleum based formula.

Retail prices of the overall line range from $699 to $1,299 per convertible ensemble.
The complete line of Hickory At Home consumer products will be on display in Hickory at Home’s High Point showroom, located in Main Building, 5th Floor, Space #508A.
