Better Homes and Gardens and Craftmaster Furniture announced that three new living room groups, six new accent chairs, and 40 new upholstery patterns will be introduced at the Spring High Point Furniture Market (April 2-7). The collection will be featured in a newly updated Craftmaster showroom, with an emphasis on the power of the Better Homes and Gardens brand, and the influence that its readers, trends and editors have on the design of the pieces. The Craftmaster furniture showroom is located at 2622 Uwharrie Road in High Point, NC.

“We create pieces that Better Homes and Gardens readers tell us they want,” says Elise Contarsy, VP Brand Licensing, Meredith National Media Group. “Reader research and editor involvement in the design of the line and selection of the fabrics are the keys to making this happen. With our partner, Craftmaster Furniture, we’ve designed distinctive pieces that respond to our customer’s desire for casual, comfortable and stylish furniture.”

The Craftmaster showroom at High Point will debut a newly updated Better Homes and Gardens brand presence with over 3,500 square feet of Better Homes and Gardens upholstery. Along with the introduction of new sofas and accent chairs, Craftmaster and Better Homes and Gardens will be introducing a new line of reclining chairs and a custom cocktail ottoman program. Four lucky showroom guests will be chosen by drawing at the conclusion of market  to receive either a Flip HD™ video camera, Apple® iPod™ Touch, Wii™ bundle or Nikon® COOLPIX® digital camera.

“We are very excited about the new Spring season introductions in our already successful Better Homes and Gardens upholstery program, and thrilled with the styling and fabric direction we have developed with the editors,” says Roy Calcagne, President/CEO of Craftmaster. “We’re confident consumers will fall in love with the fresh styles and designs that were inspired by America’s #1 home enthusiast brand.”

“Each carefully selected style and fabric reflects furnishings that retailers and customers have been asking for,” says Joe Boehm, Senior Interior Designer, Better Homes and Gardens.  “Patterns are fresh and inviting, colors are more varied and accessible, and the expanded selection of styles ranges from casual to contemporary, transitional to cottage.”
