Kincaid Furniture is proud to announce that it is partnering with Habitat for Humanity International’s affordable housing work throughout the world. Kincaid is the first furniture company to support Habitat with a multi-year national relationship.

The cornerstone of the three-year partnership is centered on Kincaid’s new furniture collection, HomecomingTM, which will debut this October at the High Point Market. For each Homecoming collection item sold, Kincaid will donate 1 percent of the wholesale price to Habitat for Humanity.

The Homecoming collection includes more than 100 pieces crafted of solid pine, solid maple and solid walnut. Homecoming is also the pilot collection for the American Home Furnishings Association’s multi-phased Eco3Home program, signifying that each piece meets or exceeds all mandatory and voluntary standards for safety, health and environmental stewardship.

“We are incredibly honored to be Habitat for Humanity’s first national furniture corporate partner,” said Steve Kincaid, president of Kincaid Furniture. “Our hope is that many of Kincaid’s retail partners will also join this exciting program and make differences in each of their communities by partnering with one of the more than 1,500 local Habitat affiliates throughout the United States.”

“Habitat for Humanity is grateful to Kincaid Furniture for joining with us to help ensure even more families live in decent housing,” said Mark Crozet, senior vice president of Resource Development for Habitat for Humanity International. “This partnership with Kincaid will help to build lives and transform communities.”

Habitat for Humanity corporate partners include: Bank of America, Citi Foundation, The Dow Chemical Company, Lowe’s, Schneider Electric, The Home Depot Foundation, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Valspar, Whirlpool, Yale and others.
