Deepening the talent pool in an already experienced department, the IHFC announced the addition of two new Account Executives to the Marketing team. Rob Larkin and Holly Allred, both with extensive resumes in the furniture industry, have joined the company. Larkin’s most recent role, with industry publications Home Accents Today and Kids Today, saw him managing over 400 accounts on the West Coast, in Canada and parts of the Southeast. Prior to this six-and-a-half-year stint, he managed key accounts for Vision Business. Larkin attended Greensboro College and North Carolina State University. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Allred has worked in sales for Rose Furniture, as Senior Gallery Manager for Universal Furniture, and in sales of high-end contract furniture for The Berman Group in Philadelphia. She earned her degree in Interior Design from Meredith College. In addition to sales, Allred will be responsible for the IHFC’s Market seminar program. “Rob and Holly bring a world of experience and a deep understanding of our customers, as well as the IHFC” said Tom Mitchell, President/CEO. “We expect them to make immediate and significant contributions to the company, and we’re fortunate to have them.” Opening in 1921, IHFC was the original showroom building in High Point and after 88 years of expansion remains the centerpiece of the world’s largest home-furnishings trade show that attracts more than 90,000 participants twice a year to 2,000 showrooms covering 11.5 million square feet. IHFC alone is home to 650 of the leading home-furnishings manufacturers, including 13 of the top 20 companies, and covers 3.5 million square feet.
