Eclipse International Las Vegas Market Introductions Set Consistent Product Path for Company

Furniture World News Desk on 1/28/2018

Eclipse International will introduce complete national merchandising program featuring four mattress collections that will be manufactured by the company’s U.S. licensees using specific, proprietary components following established standard operating procedures. This is the first time the company’s complete slate of Las Vegas Market introductions will be a true national lineup. Each of the new collections were developed with input and buy in from the licensees.

Earlier this year, Eclipse named industry veteran Russ Bowman to develop and lead a quality control program. The Las Vegas Market, set for Jan. 28 – Feb. 1, will mark the company’s first, comprehensive lineup using components and processes mandated for use in making the mattresses. Bowman is visiting the factories to ensure the consistency in manufacturing.

“This move solidifies our commitment to brand consistency across the U.S. This marks the first time in our history that all of our new products will be manufactured to standard specifications throughout our domestic licensing network,” said Stuart Carlitz, president and CEO of Eclipse. “Each of the introductions was developed with integrated input from our licensees during our recent national licensing summit to secure a successful rollout.”

Eclipse International is introducing a number of collections at the Las Vegas Market. They include mattresses in a variety of constructions and price points to give retailers a broad selection of products to drive consumer traffic and sales.

At the Market, Eclipse turns its attention to a natural story with its three-bed Chittenden & Eastman introduction. The beds feature latex, organic wool combined with two different types of pocketed coils. Shown in a knit ticking in blue and silver, the beds feature deep, traditional tufting for an elegant design. The beds are priced to retail from $1,799 to $2,499.

The four new beds from Eastman House feature the company’s new Dual Vertical System™, a combination of two different coil units integrated to deliver superior support and comfort. The beds also feature combinations of memory foam and latex. Designed with a sophisticated charcoal and graphite color combination, the beds are priced to retail at $999, $1,299 and $1,499.

The Harmony and Serene feature the company’s patented Spinal Zone Sleep System designed with more center support to help eliminate back pain. The beds, each available in firm, plush and pillowtop, feature pocketed foam-encased coils, a knit ticking and herringbone border. The mattresses deliver sharp pricing with the Harmony set to retail at $599 and $699, Serene priced at $799 and $899.

Velika is a customizable, European-style bed designed with side sleepers in mind. The bed allows consumers to select their own color and uses a comfort topper to help adjust comfort levels. New marketing will support the Velika.

Each of the new selections can be viewed in the company’s Las Vegas Market showroom located at B-1118 in the World Market Center.
