Furniture World News Desk on 7/22/2012

Casegoods and upholstery source Amini Innovations Corp announced that it will welcome renowned actress and artist Jane Seymour in joining Michael Amini at the AICO showroom #C1601 during the Las Vegas Market. Jane will be in the showroom Monday and Tuesday of Market, from 10am-12pm, and 2pm-4pm.

Two brand new top-of-bed collections from the Michael Amini and Jane Seymour design collaboration will be unveiled, both inspired by Jane’s own watercolor paintings. Applied fine artistry in rich mandarin orange and teal are the focal point of the “Koi” collection, and a bold black and white outline on muslin adorn the “Lily” collection. While visiting with customers, Jane will demonstrate how she brings inspiration to life with watercolor.

“This market, we are putting an even greater emphasis on helping retailers set the stage for success. Jane shares Michael’s passion for creating theater with dynamic presentations to ignite the senses, and stimulate creativity,” says AICO’s Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, Chuck Reilly. ”It is a true testament of her dedication to our company, our customers and the industry that she attends the markets and engages with our customers.”

The design collaboration between Michael Amini and Jane Seymour has been globally successful. Reilly added, “We have exceeded high expectations with this collection as it has created a fresh new category for our customers and given them the opportunity to create a ‘wow’ factor on their floors.” Additions to the Amini Seymour Collaboration include a new finish for Hollywood Swank in black named Starry Night, as well as new items from Overture and Beverly Blvd.

Also showing for the first time in Las Vegas are the Bella Cera and Victoria Palace collections, both from the Michael Amini Original Designs series. Bella Cera is a rustic Italian inspired design, and Victoria Palace is a very stately collection embodied with elements of European architecture. There will also be a dramatic new version of the popular Lavelle collection in a warm wood finish called Melange.
