Celebrating the 51st home textiles market, Summer Showtime 2015 set for May 31 – June 3 will feature the following events:

Social Events
As always, there are many networking opportunities at Showtime, giving attendees and exhibitors a chance to relax, mingle and network in an informal atmosphere. Events are free to all, and welcome everyone.

Sunday, May 31, International Market Centers is hosting the International Pavilions at Showtime reception at 4:00 p.m. in Market Square second floor, space 212-214. Join us in welcoming the new companies from China.

International Market Centers will be sponsoring “Happy Hour” each evening from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. This is located throughout the Suites at Market Square. Stop by and say hello to friends with a refreshing drink.

Monday, June 1, Runway Fashion Show at Showtime will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Suites at Market Square. Models take the catwalk in fashions created from the latest upholstery fabrics, leather and trim from sponsoring ITMA member companies, including De Leo Textiles, High Five, Home Secrets, Moore & Giles, Sunbrella, and Trimland. The designs are created by students from North Carolina universities all competing for a $1,000 scholarship prize provided by the ITMA Educational Foundation.

Educational Events
Showtime attendees will also have the opportunity to attend presentations by Furniture Today and Home Textiles Today, CeCe Design Group and web4retail.

To begin, the first presentation is sponsored by Furniture Today and Home Textiles Today. Cindy Hodnett, Upholstery and Fabrics Editor, will be discussing “US Market Trends and Color Direction for 2016” on Monday, June 1 at 9:00 a.m.

A second educational seminar, “Trending for 2016: Impressions and Reverberations,” will be presented by Cathy Valent of CeCe Design Group on Monday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday, June 2 at 2:00 p.m. Valent offers customized textile and product development and specializes in color and trends for the home textile industry.

And lastly, a social media seminar titled “Be the Google Headliner” will be presented by Denise Keniston of web4retail on Monday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday, June 2 at 10:oo a.m. Web4retail is an internet marketing agency providing leading design and advertising services to businesses all over the country.

All presentations will take place on the top floor of the Suites at Market Square in space 1-1034.
