Developed by MicroD Inc., the new website incorporates the same leading edge design and advanced capabilities currently in use on Hooker Furniture’s new website launched last summer. “The new Sam Moore website is part of our Hooker Furniture Brands strategy to directly engage consumers and direct them to our retail partners,” said Mike Delgatti, president of Hooker Furniture. “We ‘re pleased at the site’s ability to communicate our fashion upholstery story, provide a compelling shopping experience and engage today’s fast-paced and mobile consumers effectively,” he said.

Because more than half of all visits to the company’s websites are from mobile devices, the site utilizes responsive web design that adapts the layout of the screen to any device, desktop or mobile.
The advanced dealer locator also adapts to screen size, is integrated into the site and maps out local stores that carry Sam Moore Furniture products, provides detailed listings, directions and links to the retailer websites. Consumers can also create a product Wish List, print item-specific details, zoom in on furniture pieces and enter their email address in a pop-up collector for more information.

Making use of the latest HTML5 and CSS3 development technologies, the site also showcases over 500 fabrics available on Sam Moore furnishings, approximately 30 standard or premier wood finishes and several decorative nail options. Products are organized by type, with convenient tabs at the top of the page.
