Reverie Offers New Entry-Level Adjustable Base

Furniture World News Desk on 4/15/2015

Reverie, a leading manufacturer of premium adjustable beds, said it would be introducing a new model at the forthcoming Spring High Point Market directed at consumers with budgets of just under $1,000, a fast-growing segment of the market.

The new 3E Tech™ Adjustable Foundation has head and foot adjustability with upholstered side rails. The backlit wireless remote has pre-sets for zero gravity, anti-snore and two programmable memory positions. Another special feature is the company’s “3-in-1 legs” that permit the height of the bed to adjust to 3, 5.25 and 8.25 inches off the floor. It retails for $999 in queen size.

“We see the 3E Tech as being akin to BMW or Mercedes 3 series cars. They are designed with all the high-quality, service and safety features you would expect from the brand, but at entry-level price points that attract a first-time customer. We are replicating that strategy with this new addition,” said Reverie President and CEO Martin Rawls-Meehan. ”Our dealers were looking for a more moderately priced product that was feature-packed, and I believe we have delivery something special to help them get more consumers sleeping on an adjustable foundation.”

According to Rawls-Meehan, while the overall landscape of adjustable foundations might run from $599 to upwards of $2,000, there was not a lot of great choice and value under $1,000.

“Because of our expertise in this space, we are able to produce a very high-quality product now with attractive features that will really add value for consumers at this price point.”

In addition to 3E Tech, Reverie will showcase its complete line up of adjustable foundations – bases that start with basic head and foot adjustability and massage features and expand into the latest “Made for Mobile” technologies and innovative accessories including four-speaker plus sub-woofer surround-sound system with universal mount, a wireless remote and USB docking station.
