Furniture World News Desk on 11/24/2014

Groovystuff introduces Brian Davis from High Point, NC, as the “Groovystuff Featured Designer” for the Las Vegas Market, January 18-22, 2015. The company will debut a new line of reclaimed, upholstered, and Bohemian inspired “Caravan Cubes,” made from a solid “batted” light weight foam core and canvas side panel for personal customization.

The signature, Made in the America, “Caravan Cubes” are assembled and manufactured under the guidance of Mr. Davis by local artists in High Point, NC. Each cube is adorned with reclaimed fabrics that provide an urban and chic element that blend harmoniously with rustic, vintage, and even nostalgic room settings. Designed specifically for Generation X, Millennial and Baby Boomer shoppers, these powerful poufs feature denim pockets and a blank canvas side allowing the shopper to make each cube uniquely custom to his or her home.

The reclaimed fabrics utilized in each signature cube are selected personally by Mr. Davis in High Point, North Carolina, the fabric capital of America. Featuring a slip on Velcro cover and lightweight, high density foam core center, the “Caravan Cubes” are constructed without the use of either wood or metal components. Weighing in at less than 10lbs each, these cubes are light enough to be moved around easily by consumers of all ages and allow these signature poufs to ship economically via UPS/FedEx ultimately saving money for the consumer.

Brian Davis is a local artist/designer by trade, located in the center of the High Point, North Carolina furniture and fabric district. He draws inspiration from music, faith, and the dynamics of life itself. His dynamic duo of left brain/right brain creativity and analytical approach has taken him from painting, graphics, movie making and now product development with a “personalized” touch on each of the items he makes.
