BDI Introduces the Profile Media + Storage Collection at High Point Market

BDI, a premier furniture designer and manufacturer of modern home, office, bedroom, and entertainment solutions, is debuting its stunning new Profile Media + Storage Collection. Designed by Matthew Weatherly, Profile will be shown at the April High Point Market in BDI’s showroom, IHFC Design Center, #724.

Designed as a statement collection, Profile is available in a three-door and four-door design, and in two finish options. Ideal for housing a complete media center or storing away a multitude of personal items, Profile exudes a beautiful aesthetic while offering a variety of functional features inside. The two models include:

Profile 8477 Console is a three-door, taller cabinet design that measures 30”H x 61.75”W x 20”D and can accommodate a full-media setup or numerous household essentials.   

Profile 8479 Cabinet is a four-door design that measures 23.5”H x 81.75”W x 20”D, ideal for a robust home theater setup. The cabinet’s thoughtful design keeps a media system protected, organized, and accessible.

Boasting a hardwood slatted-door design, Profile keeps contents out of sight while offering acoustic transparency that allows sound, heat, and remote signals to pass through easily. A wealth of interior features makes Profile adaptable for all your home entertainment needs:

  • Both cabinets feature adjustable shelves for use with soundbars and other media equipment or for various storage needs

  • Integrated wire management channels and cable wraps keep cords bundled and out of sight

  • Hidden wheels allow for easy placement of the cabinet, while an internal leveling system helps account for uneven flooring

  • Removable rear panels allow access to cables and connections

  • Soft close cabinet doors ensure contents won’t shake or rattle

  • Includes a TV safety strap

Both models are available in a warm Toasted Oak finish or BDI’s new lighter Washed Oak finish, making it ideal for any space. Profile will be available for shipping in Q2 2024.
