IKEA U.S. Launches Southlake Plan and Order Point with Pick-Up in DFW Area

Furniture World News Desk on 11/20/2023

IKEA U.S. has announced the opening of a new Southlake Plan and order point with pick-up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, scheduled for November 29. This initiative is part of IKEA's ongoing effort to become more convenient and accessible to customers. The Southlake location will offer planning and ordering services for various home furnishings and a pick-up point for online purchases.

Javier Quiñones, CEO & Chief Sustainability Officer of IKEA U.S., shared his perspective on the opening, “We are excited to bring IKEA closer to our neighbors in Southlake. Recognizing that customers appreciate in-person experiences, this new format aims to cater to the shopping preferences of the DFW community and beyond.”

At the Southlake Plan and order point, customers will have the opportunity to work with IKEA experts on the design and planning of home furnishing solutions. Although products will not be available for direct takeaway, arrangements for home delivery or pick-up from the adjacent location will be offered.

Ben Sandoval, Market Manager for Frisco, IKEA U.S., commented on the community engagement, “We’re eager to welcome our new neighbors and offer them sustainable and affordable home furnishings. This is part of IKEA’s expansion in DFW, reflecting our commitment to enhancing customer experiences.”

The IKEA Southlake facility will occupy 10,809 square feet within The Park Village shopping center at 1041 E. Southlake Blvd, Suite 100, Southlake, TX 76092. This new establishment complements the existing large-format IKEA stores in Frisco, TX, and Grand Prairie, TX.
