  2. realizes that individual differences determine how different employees receive and respond to the same communication.

  3. knows management by dictate on a regular basis seldom motivates and is short term in effectiveness.

  4. believes that employees respond to communication by the manner in which it is perceived to impact them personally. 

  5. is aware that trust in the chain of command is a key to how communication and directives are enacted upon.
     
  6. is cognizant that silence at the appropriate time speaks volumes in the management and motivation of associates.
