Furniture World News Desk on 4/12/2013

Taracea announced that it is celebrating  the opening of its newly expanded showroom in downtown’s Historic Radio Building located at 164 S. Main St. with a ribbon-cutting event followed by a special Hearst Castle presentation and reception, from 2 to 5 pm on April 20th – opening day of the spring High Point Market.

The high end case goods and art resource additionally retains an exclusive license with the famed Hearst Castle to produce authentic reproductions of the estate’s original furnishings collection.

Hoyt Fields, Museum Director of Hearst Castle®, who is responsible for the management of the castle’s collection of fine and decorative art, will give a brief history concentrating on the provenance of some of the most exceptional furniture items acquired by early 20th century publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst, who built the castle on the land he inherited from his father, self-made millionaire George Hearst.

The event is open to market attendees and will be followed by a reception in the showroom.

Taracea’s Hearst Castle® furniture offering, along with its other products, will be exhibited in 15,000 square feet of space, including two new and recently renovated floors in the Radio Building.
