Interior Designer Wendy Glaister Announces Publicity Schedule for January Markets

Award-winning Interiors and Kitchen & Bath Designer, Wendy Glaister, founder of Wendy Glaister Interiors announces her publicity and events schedule for January markets with a variety of speaking engagements, panel discussions, and market tours. 

Serena Martin, founder of 24/7 Creative Agency, and Wendy’s publicist shared, “Wendy is looking forward to collaborating with manufacturing brands, market centers and leveraging her immense talent to create original content while engaging audiences. Wendy’s jam-packed winter market schedule includes partnering with leading design experts to deliver insightful educational topics, as well as a multi-events program developed in partnership with Interior Design Society (IDS). This partnership includes events planned at Las Vegas Market (January 29- Feb 02, 2023), as well as at NKBA’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) (January 31 - Feb 02, 2023), whose trade shows are co-locating in Las Vegas, NV for 2023.

Kicking off the excitement taking place at Las Vegas Market, Wendy will host contemporary lifestyle brand Armen Living’s “Sunday Brunch at Market” event and offer a welcome address to market guests and IDS’s Designer Experience tour members as their official tour host. 

Armen Living’s brunch-style designer mixer will include delicious brunch bites and mimosas on Sunday, Jan 29th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Armen Living’s 10,000 square foot showroom at World Market Center in Bldg B, Space B759. RSVP to attend via Eventbrite.

Wendy’s first educational speaking engagement and Part 1 of a 2 Part series - “Finding the Truth Through All The Chaos” will partner with leading interior design experts Kimberly JOI McDonald, Founder, Owner & CEO of Designing JOI, LLC; Laura Muller, Owner, Principal, Interior Designer and Creative Director of Four Point Design Build; and Lori Miller, owner of LGC Interior Design, as the panel moderator. The panel discussion will focus on delivering expert advice from four powerful and successful businesswomen through their shared experiences on how they have stayed true to themselves while navigating and thriving design chaos. 

“Finding the Truth Through All The Chaos” panel discussion will take place on Sunday, January 29th from 4:00-5:00 pm in LVDC Seminar Room, Building A, A240 is developed in partnership with Interior Design Society (IDS) and International Market Center’s Las Vegas Market (for 1 CEU credit and is free to attend). 

Followed by a Part 2 group mentoring discussion where these same interior design experts will offer mentoring, coaching, and encouragement on the topic of “Practical Tools for Success in Interior Design”. On Sunday, January 29th from 4:00 - 5:00 pm, Wendy will also partner with Norwalk and Interior Design Society (IDS) for an intimate fireside chat to dive into “Making Your Bottom Line Brighter!” This event will feature a casual conversation with Caroline Hipple, President of Norwalk Furniture, where they will share how Norwalk's Trade Program works and how it benefits designers. Wendy will also share insights from her own experience partnering with her local Norwalk furniture dealer and how she has achieved increased revenue streams. The fireside chat will be held in Norwalk Furniture showroom World Market Center, LVDC, Building A, A214.

For the second half of Wendy’s winter market tour, she and Interior Design Society (IDS) will celebrate the second rendition of their KBIS Designer Experience as Wendy returns to host the first day of IDS’s two-day designer tour, with three hours of exhibitor introductions from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30th during NKBA’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS).

Wednesday, February 01, rounds out Wendy’s KBIS events schedule with a presentation at 12:00 pm in KBIS’ Design Milk Lounge in Booth N1557 inside the ICFF Pavilion presented in partnership with NKBA & Modenus Media. 

Wendy’s presentation topic, “Creative Collaboration for Diversifying Your Design Business” focuses on navigating today’s working challenges by creating collaborations to diversify your design business. Covering how aligning with kitchen & bath retailers and skilled tradespeople can build powerful relationships that may create significant revenue streams. Wendy’s key collaborators that help her to diversify her business are Fabricator, Jim Hulstrom, Purestone; Supplier, Shawn Rawlins from Abe's Discount Plumbing; and Cabinet Craftsman Manos Zacharias of VPM Cabinets. Each of these collaborators will be present to allow for an easy flow of ideas and conversation with attendees to share more about how this business model works.
