Surya to Showcase Significant Category Expansions at High Point Market

Surya’s High Point Showroom, Showplace 4100, is undergoing another makeover as the brand prepares to showcase a significant expansion in furniture, wall decor and lighting, along with hundreds of new rug introductions. Surya’s positioning as a leading home furnishings lifestyle brand will be evident with visual displays throughout the showroom highlighting how Surya pieces can work together effortlessly in homes and retail settings. 

“We are bringing to market a fresh merchandising concept to illustrate the breadth, depth and cohesiveness of the growing Surya product line. Our showroom has been reconfigured to accommodate experiential installations that will provide guests with endless inspiration to create, complete or transform a space,” said Surya President Satya Tiwari. He added, “With our recent expansion into furniture, we continue to solidify our position as the preferred one-stop-shop for retailers and designers to source everything needed to create beautiful spaces.” 

Building on a successful launch of sofas, loungers and chairs last Spring, Surya’s new furniture features more seating options and larger-scale pieces, including dining tables, coffee tables and ottomans. Wall decor introductions include unique, statement-making art and mirrors in a variety of finishes, shapes, and sizes. Lighting introductions span multiple styles and silhouettes. And, with more than 75 new collections and hundreds of new designs, Surya’s rug assortment offers many stunning new designs in the hand-knotted, performance, texture, natural fiber and one-of-a-kind categories, among others. 

A sampling of new introductions for the season follows. 

The lush channel tufted Brionne sofa, available in a striking olive or medium brown velvet fabric, adds a touch of contemporary glamor to any living room. 

A perfect fusion of natural and industrial elements, the Stavanger dining table and matching bench feature live-edge curves and warm wood tones juxtaposed with an angled metallic base. 

Nature transforms into a functional work of art with the handcrafted Halden coffee table and its unique grains, knots, and fissures on a live-edge wood top. Matching dining table available. 

The clean-lined Laredo ottoman, upholstered with gray or brown hide, features a sleek and sophisticated tonal patchwork design. 

Hung together or spread out in multiple spaces, the asymmetric organic shaping of the beveled Lorelin mirrors lends a spontaneous aesthetic to any room. 

Striking luminous frames, made from hand inlaid shell and mother-of-pearl, are available in a variety of shapes, sizes and finishes in the Iridescent mirror collection. 

Navagio 
In the Navagio table lamp, a tapered beige linen shade rests gracefully over a natural concrete body that blends seamlessly with any style. 

The intriguingly shaped Pavilion table lamp is available with a stunning blue or white ceramic body, complemented by a tapered ivory linen shade. 

The charming sculptural base of the Rogow floor lamp is as stylish as it is sturdy and is topped off with a sophisticated white linen shade. 

Ghazni 

Persian and Turkish-inspired designs, made from incredibly soft high-sheen premium wool, deliver a luxurious sensory experience. Hand knotted in India from Ghazni wool. 

Mesmerizing Anatolian motifs with intrinsic symbolism decorate an even-pile Turkish knot construction. Hand knotted in India from wool.
