International Market Centers’ (IMC) design-driven InterHall – a curated assortment of showrooms and temporary exhibits on the first floor of the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) – welcomes buyers to the Fall 2022 High Point Market with 10 updates among its 70+ brands.

“InterHall is where High Point Market begins for many buyers – not only as a first stop at market, but the genesis of the trends and new ideas that will drive the design world for the next season,” said Scott Eckman, IMC executive vice president, chief revenue officer. “New brands joining the collection this Fall bring fresh perspectives and push the limits of great design.”

The 10 new InterHall brands are a mix of High Point Market debuts and new temporary exhibit spaces for existing brands. Some five newcomers are ModShop (customizable trend-driven furniture and accessories), One for Victory (modern furniture featuring premium leathers and luxe fabrics), Salda Arredamenti (fine, handcrafted furniture made in Italy since the early 19th century), urbeanea (customizable contemporary furniture made by artisans in Mexico from responsibly sourced materials), Vilmers (sofas handcrafted in Lithuania from sustainable materials). Three new spaces for existing High Point brands are AFK Furniture (nursery furniture handmade in the USA) returning after a pandemic hiatus, Lili Alessandra (hand-crafted pillows; upholstered headboards, ottomans and benches; and hand-knotted rugs) in its first branded space and Troels DenMark (custom upholstered furniture featuring luxury leathers and fabrics) opening a second location in IHFC. Two relocations are Benson-Cobb (abstract multi-media paintings and textile designs for furniture, rugs, wallcoverings and accessories) from the Suites at Market Square (SAMS) and Essentials for Living (transitional furniture in a unique mix of materials, finishes and designs) from Showplace.

InterHall’s 80,000 square feet of exhibit space also includes nearly 20 showrooms in addition to 50+ temporary exhibitors. Showroom updates for Fall 2022 include the rebranding of two exhibitors: Selamat (sustainable and eco-friendly indoor/outdoor furniture, lighting, and home décor) is now Woven and Bungalow 5 (luxury modern furniture inspired by historic designs and finishes) is now Villa & House.

The InterHall debuts are just some of the updates throughout IHFC in Fall 2022 that will create a dynamic new shopping experience. The first phase of the reimagining of IHFC includes the relocations of some 21 permanent showrooms to and within the building to create a contiguous five-floor decor offering (floors 1-5) that begins with InterHall as well as a contiguous seven-story furniture destination (floors 6-12).

IMC presents the only temporary exhibits at High Point Market. In addition to InterHall, some 220+ furniture, décor and lifestyle temporary exhibitors are presented on three floors of the Suites at Market Square (SAMS) including the design-focused, fashion-forward SALON collection, and 15+ furniture exhibitors are offered on one floor in Plaza Suites.

IMC’s 17 properties in High Point include: 300 E. Green St.; 300 S. Main St.; Commerce & Design Building (C&D); Furniture Plaza; Historic Market Square; International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC); Klaussner on Hamilton; Market Square Textile Tower; National Furniture Mart; Plaza Suites; Showplace; the Suites at Market Square (SAMS); and five on Hamilton Street – 121, 200, 320 and 330 N.
