Massood Opens 530,000 Sq. Ft. Warehouse Space

With Spring/Summer retail sales slowed by the economic recession, manufacturers, retailers and E-Tailers have been scrambling to find warehouse space as distribution centers bulge to capacity. Massood Logistics announced it has re-opened more than 500,000 sq. ft. for immediate use by retailers, E-tailers or manufacturers looking for additional warehouse space or assistance with their distribution logistics.

“We spent the summer reconfiguring our warehouse network to free up space,” said Edward Massood, CEO of Massood Logistics, “We cleared out our Eden facility to upgrade our systems and improve efficiency.  We have added vertical storage, and upgraded our inventory control systems,  freight handling equipment and floor management systems.” Massood reports that this will free up 530,000 sq. ft. of storage space for immediate use. He continues, “We saw the need in the marketplace and took action to provide critical assistance to our customers and  logistic partners.”

Massood Logistics offers three locations, including Greensboro, High Point, and Eden, North Carolina. They all feature the latest in freight handling equipment and inventory systems.
