Standard Fiber Introduces New 2022 Bedding Collections

Furniture World News Desk on 4/20/2022

The design team at Standard Fiber, a supplier to the home textile market and manufacturer of basic bedding products, will  present fresh, new design and color trends to help its customers select the most current home textiles for their new mattress collections.

“Over the years, we’ve found customers rely on us to help them come up with creative solutions to design and develop unique and innovative bedding products,” said Brandon Wells, Standard Fiber EVP/GM - Mattress Division. “While comfort technologies and design aesthetics are always on trend, sustainability is also a major concern among today’s consumers and plays a big role in our home textile offering.”

At the ISPA Expo this past March, Standard Fiber introduced four new mattress collections for 2022 based on its design team’s latest research on forecasted home design and color trends.

  • Mod Nature

Mod Nature, which fully embraces the idea of “new-stalgic”. Mod Nature pulls elements from mid-century architecture and design and updates the look to a more contemporary feel. In this collection Standard Fiber uses clean, modern lines, diagonal features, and subtle texture with a classic navy-based color palette.

  • Japandi

Japandi is the blending of Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics, melding the smooth and modern approach of Scandinavian design with the sleek and functional elegance of Japanese design. Minimalist yet welcoming, Japandi is all about using neutral tones, textures and natural materials to evoke comfort and peacefulness. In this collection the company highlight the use of natural and sustainable fibers, such as Tencel®, Bamboo Rayon, and recycled polyester.

  • Simply Intricate

Simply Intricate is Standard Fiber’s transitional take on a traditional style collection, catering to a more mature and luxurious customer. In this collection the company uses floral motifs, organic and fluid design elements, intricate background texture, and a soft muted color palette. In this collection we highlight high-end fibers, such as cashmere, silk, and rayon.

  • Vibe

Vibe radiates nostalgia and utilizes technology as its basis for design. Vibe has a more dynamic approach, with bold color usage and edgy pattern motifs. In this collection Standard Fiber highlight cooling yarns, striated yarns, and copper infusions.

Also, at ISPA, Standard Fiber presented its portfolio of sustainable products that included recycled textiles, compostable textiles, bio-based foam pillows, bio-based textile finishes, and many more.

Last month, Standard Fiber, launched a carbon reduction program where it will invest in carbon offsets for all cargo containers of textiles it exports from Asia to customers in the U.S. and 20 other countries around the world. This initiative builds upon the company’s robust material responsibility platform that includes organic cotton with GOTS or OCS certification, recycled fibers with GRS or RCS certification, bio-based foams with USDA Biopreferred™ certification, RDS down, Oeko-tex certified products, and packaging made with recycled materials. The company has also implemented more space-saving and cost-efficient means of shipping products around the globe.
