WithIt Announces 2021 WOW Award Recipients in Advance of Gala Dinner October 15th

WithIt, the women’s leadership development network for the home and furnishings industry, announces the recipients of the 2021 WOW Awards which will be presented during a sold out gala dinner on Friday, October 15th during High Point Market.
 
WithIt is proud of this year’s distinguished nominees and will honor all finalists during the Awards dinner in the IHFC’s International Ballroom. The annual WOW Awards honor the achievements of home furnishings professionals that embody the organization's mission.
 
On Friday, a panel of judges scored packages and recommendations submitted by the nominees. The 2021 WOW Award recipients are:
 
Mentoring Award: Jana Platina Phipps, Home Couture Collective
Future Leader Award: Kristen Wo, C.S. Wo & Sons
Leadership Award: Patti Carpenter and Amy Lyn Schwartzbard, The Kaleidoscope Project
Education Award: Emily Cox, Onyx Design Collaborative
Sales Excellence Award: Angela Huff, Independent Sales Representative
 
Violette Forman, Havertys, will receive the Visionary Award honoring her achievement, insight and actions which have significantly impacted WithIt and Amanda Daubert, Director of Services for Furniture First, will receive the President’s Award.
 
As part of the gala, WithIt will honor all final nominees for these prestigious awards:  Barbara Bradford, Restonic; Beverly Kastel, Stressless; Ashley Grigg, High Point Market; Katie Vanderjagt, La-Z-Boy; Rachel Cannon, Rachel Cannon Limited Interiors; Laura Levinson, Valdese Weavers; Kathy Phillips, Springs Creative; Helena Yates, Purecare; Cindy Rogers; and Tammy Virgil, J.B. Hunt Transport.
