CITY Furniture Launches 3D and Augmented Reality to Their Online User Experience

Florida-based furniture retailer CITY Furniture announced that it has partnered with INSPI to develop and implement a brand new augmented reality (AR)  feature that allows customers to preview products right in their homes before making a buying decision. With this addition, CITY Furniture joins the ranks of national retailers Amazon, Wayfair, and Target to bring an elevated shopping experience to their customers.

“We’re continuing our relentless pursuit of a personalized experience for our customers after the successful launch of our visual search feature. Offering customers the ability to ‘see’ a product visually in their space –in the comfort of their home– gives them increased peace of mind when making their purchases. When this feature was applied to just one popular product, we saw a 33% cart-to-detail increase and a 179% buy-to-detail increase, “ explains Anelena Longhi, VP of Marketing and Digital Commerce. 

After three years of active collaboration, CITY Furniture’s website now showcases over 5,000 products modeled in 3D. Products are visible from every angle through this 360-degree view feature, which projects the item directly into the user’s interior in real time.
