MLILY USA Donates Mattresses to the House That Mercy Built

MLILY USA has donated 13 mattresses to The House That Mercy Built, a non-profit, faith-based residential program based in Tellico Plains, Tennessee. The donated mattresses outfitted an entire new shelter that the organization recently opened, and completely updated the new shelter’s bedding needs.
The House That Mercy Built provides a safe place for women suffering from drug or alcohol abuse. While they reside at the house, women have the opportunity to take classes in life and parenting skills, health nutrition and work ethics. In-house tutoring for the general education development (GED) test and assistance for college-bound candidates is also provided. Located on eight acres, the first house opened in 2011. While women are at the house for care, they are under 24-hour supervision and are responsible for helping to care for the house and property.
