Horizon Home Opens Puebla, Mexico Distribution Center

Horizon Home recently announced that, beginning August 10th, 2020, it will begin shipping consolidated direct orders from it's new DC in Puebla Mexico. The 50K square foot facility will also stock product for Horizon's US Warehouse program out of Phoenix, AZ. Making for quick replenishment for its US warehouse inventory.
Senior Vice President Sales, Felipe Orozco states, "Speed is the name of the game right now. And only by having finished inventory at country of origin can we offer faster lead times to all of our dealers. Direct lead times out of Mexico have traditionally been 4 to 5 weeks. By stocking finished goods, we look to trim this lead time to 2 to 3 weeks. Our goal is to be the fastest supply chain partner out of Mexico for casegoods, occasional, and accent furnishings".
The new facility will stock all of Horizon Home best sellers. Horizon's unlimited factory and product mix has always been one of its strongest selling points. Making it easy for dealers to go wide in assortment, without having to load up on just a few sku's, or single factory assortment. Shortening the lead times will be a huge boost to the appeal of buying from Horizon Home.
