Tepperman’s Expanding, Celebrates New Store Opening in Ancaster

Tepperman’s, the family-owned home furniture, mattress, appliance and electronics retailer, recently announced the opening of its 6th retail location at 45 Legend Court in the Ancaster Meadowlands, Hamilton. A ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Friday, August 9th at the new Ancaster location, and was celebrated with the presence of Hamilton area dignitaries, business partners, vendors, along with Tepperman’s staff and friends.
Andrew Tepperman, President said, “We are excited to open another Tepperman’s store in Southwestern Ontario and we believe Ancaster is an ideal market for our brand. This sets the standard for providing customers the latest on-trend furniture styles with unmatched custom capabilities, in-store design services and in-house financing options.”

Previously a Sear’s Home location, the new Ancaster store boasts over 43,000 square feet of showroom space, completely renovated inside and out with a major focus on customer experience. The design includes natural lighting via newly added large windows, LED lighting throughout the store, defined isle ways for ease of movement and easy access to all departments. The store also features a kids play area, café, popcorn and filtered water station.
Tepperman’s is fully committed to sustainability, giving back to the communities and ensuring their employees enjoy the very best support and care. As part of their guiding principles to engage the communities where they live and work, the Tepperman family has collaborated with CHCH Television on a charity initiative called “HEART OF OUR HOME” Charity Contest, where local charities were invited to submit stories of why their charity should win 1 of 3 $10,000 prizes to help the Hamilton/Ancaster community. Winning charities will be selected on August 23 and the 3 winners, will be announced at Tepperman’s Ancaster Grand Opening Day Friday August 30th at 10am!
