alma artte To Bring Their Handcrafted, Upcycled Clocks to the U.S Market This Fall

Furniture World News Desk on 9/16/2019

alma artte recently announced plans to launch their internationally successful range of upcycled clocks for American customers. Each clock is handcrafted & uniquely designed from materials seasoned from years. The clocks are made individually by a team of artisans and designers based in India. The clocks, currently sold in the German, Russian, UK, Dubai and Qatar markets, will make their U.S. debut at the upcoming Fall High Point Market.

Owner, Girik Vadehra, says the clocks are upcycled from objects that have been discarded after being used for about 30-50+ years. The clocks are handcrafted in India by extremely talented artisans. “Some of the shells holding the clocks are several decades old thus making them a collector’s item. They are more than just clocks; they are also home décor items. Being handcrafted individually, the beauty of the product lies in its uniqueness. No two clock pieces are exactly the same in appearance and size even if they are of the same design and style. Our attempt is to consciously reduce carbon footprint and create visually appealing clocks as compared to machine made, mass produced clocks. You will be a conscious contributor in this rerouting of waste from being dumped in the landfill. Our one-of-a-kind, handmade clocks are not usually found in local stores. We want to appeal to selective, eco-conscious consumers who want unique, unusual pieces that are also earth-friendly and non-toxic.”

Girik continues, "Each semi-antique clock is handmade and are specially admired by architects, designers and people interested in doing their houses up differently. Each clock is a masterpiece with a history attached to it. When you purchase from us, you will be purchasing a part of history with a story unique to that clock".

alma artte will showcase their clocks at the Square at Market Square, Booth T-721 during the Fall 2019 High Point Show. This will be the launch of their upcycled clocks collection for the first time in the U.S. market. During the show, the company will be offering wholesaling pricing to retailers.
