Godwin’s Furniture & Mattress Selects Knorr Marketing (Again)

Godwin’s Furniture & Mattress, with 10 retail store locations in mid-Michigan, recently selected Knorr Marketing as their Agency of Record. This is the sixth full-service furniture retail client Knorr Marketing has added during the last 12 months. The other five new clients operate stores in Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. Collectively, the six new clients on Knorr’s roster represent a total of 20 store locations accounting for well over $50 million in annual retail sales.

“We’re happy to be back with Knorr Marketing,” said Bob White, Vice President of Godwin’s Furniture & Mattress. “We first began working with Knorr Marketing in the 1990s when we had three stores and they established a solid creative direction for us.  However, we eventually brought our marketing and advertising in-house. Over the intervening years we grew to 10 stores and decided it was time to bring Knorr back aboard to take our marketing to the next level. Their understanding of the retail furniture marketplace, their grasp of both digital and traditional communications mediums, and their track record of success with other retailers, encouraged us to work with them again.”

Godwin’s is a family owned and operated business that is a member of the Furniture First cooperative buying group. “Besides striving to provide a wonderful    furniture selection and shopping experience for our customers, we have always wanted to contribute to the overall well-being of the communities where we have a store,” said White. Special Olympics, Susan G Komen for the Cure, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, as well as local high school sports and little leagues are among the organizations the business supports.
