WithIt Announces 2019 WOW Award Recipients

WithIt, the women’s leadership development network for the home and furnishings industry, announced the recipients of the 2019 WOW Awards which will be presented during a gala dinner on Sunday, January 27th during the Las Vegas Market.

WithIt is proud of this year’s distinguished nominees and will honor all finalists during the Awards dinner in the Worldview Room at World Market Center. The annual WOW Awards honor the achievements of home furnishings professionals that embody the organization's mission.

On Wednesday, a panel of five judges scored packages and recommendations submitted by the nominees. The 2019 WOW Award recipients are:

MENTORING AWARD: Christi Barbour and Christi Spangle, Barbour Spangle Design
FUTURE LEADER AWARD: Lorelei Colbert, Thomasville & Co.
LEADERSHIP AWARD: Lois Del Negro, Global Views
EDUCATION AWARD: Sam and Kacie Malouf, Malouf and The Malouf Foundation
 
Ellen Gefen, president of Gefen Companies, will receive the Legacy Award celebrating her lifetime contributions to WithIt and the home furnishings industry.
 
As part of the gala, WithIt will honor all final nominees for these prestigious awards:  Susan Thayer, Rabbit Creek; Kathy Wall, The Media Matters; Taryn Kabei, C.S. Wo & Sons Ltd.; Julie Messner, IMC; David Perry, Furniture Today; Chris Cooley, Michael Alan Home Furnishings; Katherine and Susan Hable, Hable Construction.
