Bailey Street Triples Atlanta Showroom Space

Following a showroom move and expansion to the IHFC Building in High Point this past October, Bailey Street has announced the Grand Opening of a new, larger showroom at AmericasMart Atlanta. The new facility will be located on the 12th floor of the Merchandise Mart, showroom, 12 A 5, also known as Building 1. “We simply have outgrown our old showroom spaces”, Jim Berk, Bailey Street Chairman and C.E.O. said. “Since Bailey Street became an independent company in 2005, we have tripled our SKU count in accent furniture and introduced two new lines of interchangeable upholstery covered seating. Our Couture Covers® line is now up to eight different seating silhouettes including 5 chair styles, a counter stool, barstool and bench with over 170 upholstery cover styles from which to choose spanning traditional, transitional and contemporary fabrics. We introduced the Southern Living® Cover Style© line of interchangeable upholstery covers last October at High Point and showcased it in its own showroom. It alone has over 50 SKU’s. “With our expanded showroom space here in Atlanta, AmericasMart has become our showplace to introduce the 30 new Accent Furniture pieces and fixed upholstery chairs we’ll be adding to the Bailey Street lineup this January. Without this dramatic increase in showroom space there was no way to properly showcase the entire line”, said Greg Waylock, Bailey Street president. “This expansion and our showroom expansion in High Point are the direct result of working with our customers’ at various shows across the country. If there was one thing that we heard repeated and repeated in High Point it was ‘we never realized your line was so extensive at such a great value’. We are hoping to hear that same result from the Atlanta expansion.”
