Kevin Mann Joins Craftmaster Furniture

Craftmaster Furniture Inc. has hired Kevin Mann to the newly created position of Vice President of Operations. Previously Mr. Mann was the Director of Manufacturing of Clayton Marcus Furniture based in Hickory, N.C. Mr. Mann had been with Clayton Marcus for the past 18 years in various manufacturing positions including engineering, product development and most recently director of manufacturing. Prior to Clayton Marcus Mr. Mann had worked for Bassett Furniture in the engineering department. “I am very pleased to have someone with Kevin’s vast experience and knowledge of furniture manufacturing join the Craftmaster team”, said Roy Calcagne, President and CEO. Kevin’s strong operations and manufacturing background will help Craftmaster to continue its very aggressive growth plan by focusing on the management of the company’s operations, improved customer service and quality assurance”, added Calcagne. “We have been very fortunate to show significant growth in the company over the past 18 months as a result of improved product offerings, an expanded customer base, entry into new product categories, which includes the very successful Better Homes and Gardens product line and expanded sales territories. We now need to expand our senior management team in order to keep up with the growth”, added Calcagne.
