Universal Furniture International announced that it is starring five new bedroom and dining room collections for the High Point Furniture Market. Hill Country Hill Country is a casual collection with elements of lodge, Tuscan, and the Southwest. Hill Country’s look is rustic and distressed, with lighter colors to reflect the beautiful desert landscape. Pieces in the group feature a light sand/terra cotta finish that is heavily distressed giving it a more casual rustic appeal. The versatile style of the collection works well in multiple settings and features figured cherry and laurel burl veneers with a cabernet finish for a fresh, updated look. Key design elements of this collection incorporate contemporary shapes with demilune and serpentine, a raised reeded design, a distinctive bracket foot and raised pilasters. The 17-piece Beverly Heights bedroom and dining collection also meets the needs of today’s busy lifestyles with a variety of versatile pieces. For the Dining room, this collection features a variety of dining chairs including a sling back fully upholstered chair and a wood chair featuring a carved lattice weave back. The rectangular table features serpentine shaped table ends and a Klismos style leg and the double pedestal table features a beautiful octagon shaped based with reeded carving.
