NHFA Affiliate SEHFA To Host Florida Convention

The Southeastern Home Furnishings Association (SEHFA) announced that members will travel to Destin, Fla., for four days of education and fun in the sun at a June 8-11 Convention at the Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort. The extensive educational portion of SEHFA’s four-day event, with a western theme, will be devoted to finding solutions that will assist retailers in making the most of good times and weathering the bad. Philip Gutsell, GutSELL & Associates will lead two sessions: “Growing Your Business When Facing Challenging Conditions,” and “Actions for Transactions.” John Egger, Profitability Consulting Group, will speak on “Improving Your Financial Matrix,” and serve as facilitator for a round-table discussion. Recreational activities include a golf tournament and a festive “Cowboy Hoe Down” dinner and costume party where members will dress as cowboys and cowgirls.
