Four Hands To Introduce Vintage Trunk Collection In High Point
Furniture World Magazine
Austin, TX-based furniture company Four Hands will be adding a new series of leather and metal clad trunks suitable for a wide variety of uses to their highly successful Carnegie collection.
The latest in the vintage leather and case goods collection is an extensive selection of tables, dressers, and armoires strongly recalling turn of the century steamer trunks, incorporating distressed leathers, textured leathers such as faux croc, wood, and metal. There are a number of interesting configurations suitable for a variety of uses, including not only occasional tables, but a 3 by 3 dresser, stand-up chests of drawers, and a 79” tall armoire style intended for bedroom use. They are great as accent pieces, or as complements to iron or leather beds.
Launched at High Point in April 2006, the Carnegie line initially consisted of a series of vintage club leather upholstered frames and distressed, solid oak case pieces including occasional and dining. The collection was Four Hands #1 collection in April 2006, then doubled in October.
