Levitz Furniture Names Senior Vice President, Logistics

Levitz Furniture, a leading specialty retailer of furniture, bedding and home furnishings, announced the appointment of Warren Bishop as Senior Vice President, Logistics. He will report to Tom Baumlin, Chief Executive Officer. Bishop, a 16-year retail logistics veteran, will be responsible for product distribution, logistics and transportation for the 78-store chain. Bishop began his retail career at Target Stores in Los Angeles, where he was the Operations Manager for the Los Angeles Regional Distribution Center. He then spent nine years at Sears, Roebuck and Company as the Director of Logistics, where he led the logistics group's strategy to support the diversity of Sears' $40 billion enterprise. Most recently with a start-up, Bishop also oversaw the Eastern Region Distribution Centers for Toys 'R Us.
